Thank you for visiting the Boring Fire District web site. It is our intent to keep you informed of programs, activities, Board actions, and other pertinent information. The Boring Fire District is a special service district that provides Fire, Rescue, and Prevention services to the City of Damascus, as well as the unincorporated areas of Boring, Kelso, Hillsview, Barton and Eagle Creek. Over 20,000 people live within the 64 square miles that our district serves. Currently, the Fire District has 83 members, consisting of 18 career, 55 volunteer, 8 support, and 2 administrative personnel. We are very proud of the dedicated volunteer and career members who serve the citizens of our community in a professional and courteous manner. As the Fire Chief, it is my responsibility to make sure that our members are highly skilled, motivated, and equipped to exceed your expectations. We take great pride in the service that we provide.
