District Information
Boring Fire District consists of over 64 square miles at the north end of Clackamas County near Portland in Northwest Oregon. The District is served by a combination of volunteer and career firefighters. There are three stations located in our District. The Boring station houses two front line engines, a rescue, two water tenders, a brush rig, squad, and several staff vehicles. The Damascus station has an engine, rescue, and brush rig. In Eagle Creek, there is an engine, rescue, water tender, and brush rig at our station. All this ensures that we are able to respond to calls, which totalled over 1,700 in 2008.

Boring Fire is also very active in the community.  Some activities we are involved in include team teaching in the grade school fire safety programs, safety fairs with car seat inspections, community and school programs, and fire safety house displays. The community is very supportive of the Fire District and participates in activities throughout the year, some of which include smoke detector, fire prevention, car seat, and Christmas Basket programs. If you're in the area, stop by and we'll show you around.
