Doug Branch is the Fire Chief for the Boring Fire District located south of Gresham, where he has served as Chief since June 2004. He began his fire service career as a volunteer with the Stayton Fire District in 1978, where he served in every position from firefighter to Division Chief. He served as Assistant Chief for three years with Stayton Fire prior to accepting the same position with the Boring Fire District in 1996. Chief Branch has an A.S. Degree in Fire Science from Chemeketa CC, and is currently enrolled in the National Fire Academy’ s Executive Fire Officer Program. He is also an alumnus of the Luke Center’ s Pacific Program. Doug is a past Chairman of the NW Association of Fire Trainers, the Regional Fire Operations Group and a past Safety Officer for the Oregon State Fire Marshal’ s Overhead Teams. He currently serves as the Fire Defense Board Chair for Clackamas County. |

| DIVISION CHIEF/OPERATIONS | |||||

George Eisert is the Operations Division Chief for the Boring Fire District. He started his career as a volunteer in 1989, and in 1996 was hired as a full-time employee. Starting out as Apparatus Maintenance Coordinator, he rose through the ranks of Firefighter, Apparatus Operator, Lieutenant, and Captain. George was promoted to the role of Operations Division Chief in May 2010. Throughout his career George has been involved with a number of NFPA committees, worked on various IFSTA training manuals, and currently holds the position of President of the Oregon Fire Apparatus & Equipment Maintenance Association. |

Don Patty is the Fire Marshal for the Boring and Sandy Fire Districts. Previously he was with Portland Fire for 30 years, 20 years in the Fire Marshals Office as Fire Life Safety Code Officer. He's been working in fire, building and mechanical code change at the State and International level since 1973. He is now in his 10th year as Fire Marshal for Sandy and Boring Fire and loves every day of it! |
